Today is indeed a big day. The soccer team won the NSIC Championship (and an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament), while the football team found out who they will play in the NCAA Tournament, making the tournament for a third straight year.

The soccer team beat U-Mary 2-0 on Sunday in St. Cloud. Halle Peterson scored off a corner kick, and Maggie Cade forced a turnover and found Katrina Barthelt for the second first-half goal for BSU. Edie Frantzen made four saves for the shutout. The NCAA Selection Show for womens soccer is Monday (11/13/23) at 5:30pm. Watch at ncaa.com.

The BSU football team finished in a tie for second place in the NSIC, losing to Augustana on Saturday. The NCAA D2 Football Selection Show was Sunday, and three NSIC teams made the postseason. Augustan will host MSU-Mankato, while Bemidji State will travel to UTPB (U. Texas Permian Basin) in Midland, Texas on Saturday, November 18th.
