Football Banquet Set

The Bemidji State University football team went 7-4 in 2012 and posted a 6-1 record in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference North Division to earn a share of the 2012 NSIC North Division Title. To celebrate, Beaver football student-athletes and coaches are inviting the general public to attend the 2012 NSIC North Division Champions Banquet, Saturday, Dec. 8 from 5-8 p.m. at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Bemidji, Minn.

Speeches from student-athletes and coaches, team awards distribution and recognition of All-NSIC and Academic All-NSIC honors highlight the evening.

The Beavers started 1-3, but finished the 2012 season 7-4 to record their 14th .500-plus record in the last 15 seasons. BSU posted a 5-1 record at Chet Anderson Stadium to tie a program-best for home wins in a season and mark the 11th consecutive winning record at home. The 6-1 North record is BSU’s best showing in the five years since beginning divisional play.
