Beavers travel to Florida for The Spring Games
BSU Softball to play 10 games over six-day stretch
The Bemidji State University Softball team is getting ready for a busy week as they head south to Clermont, Florida for The Spring Games. Over a six-day stretch, the Beavers will face 10 opponents. The Beavers return to the diamond after going 3-2 in the Lewis Tournament claiming victories over Purdue Northwest (6-4), Upper Iowa (7-3), and William Jewel (11-6).

Saturday, March 2
The Beavers start against Montana State Billings (3-6-1) at 12:30 pm, followed by a game against
West Virginia Wesleyan (0-3) at 3:00 pm.
Sunday, March. 3
Bemidji State faces California Pennsylvania (0-0) at 3:00 pm and Queens College (0-0) at 5:15 pm.
Monday, March. 4
Kicking off the day early against College of Staten Island (3-1) at 8:15 am, then take on Goldey-Beacom (1-7) at 10:30 am.
Wednesday, March. 6
After a rest day the Beavers take on Mercyhurst (1-3) at 9:15 am followed by Southern New Hampshire (0-0) at 2:00 pm.
Thursday, March. 7
The Beavers wrap up the week against Trevecca Nazarene (10-4) at 8:00 am and Quincy University (3-5) at 10:15 am.
Senior Molly Houts leads the Beavers batting .360 with nine hits, eight RBI’s and two doubles. She is followed by Junior Mariah Stevenson batting .357 along with two doubles and one home run against Northern State.
Senior Stella Dolan leads the Beavers pitching, she has struck out 29 batters over the course of 43.1 innings and totaled a 5.01 ERA.
