Mason Cup Playoff Tickets Going Quickly

As of Monday around noon, ticket sales were robust for this Friday’s Mason Cup Championship game. If you would like to be in the Sanford Center Friday night, don’t wait to get your tickets. They are available (fee free) at the Sanford Center Box office, or at ticketmaster.com. The winner of the game on Friday night will get the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Bemidji State has won nine straight games…and is unbeaten in eleven. The nine straight wins is tied for the hottest active streak in the country, and the 11 straight unbeaten is the best mark in the BSU Division 1 era!

The CCHA has announced that Ben Holden and Pat Micheletti will be the announcers for the game on FloHockey. As always, the Beaver Radio Network will be there as well. Ben and Pat are pros. They are very good. The CCHA wants a neutral broadcast of their championship game. We understand that, and support their decision.

However, if you plan on watching the game on Flo, but would like to listen to Schultzie and Biss, here’s how:

Due to how streaming of audio and video works, our audio will ALWAYS be ahead of the video from Flo. Start Flo ‘s broadcast on your phone, laptop, tablet, or TV. Then, on your laptop, phone, tablet, or connected device, log on to beaverradionetwork.com and click on the link to LISTEN NOW. You can NOT sync up the audio with the video if you are listening on a terrestrial radio.

When the game audio on the BRN is just ready to start (ie: opening faceoff), pause the audio on beaverradionetwork.com. The video feed should be at least 30 seconds behind our audio. The more people that are streaming our audio and the video on Flo…the longer that delay can be.

Once you see that the video on Flo is nearing the same time of the game that you paused our audio, start playing (un-pause) our audio on beaverradionetwork.com, and mute the audio on Flo.

If you start listening after the opening faceoff, you can follow these same steps, but pause our audio at a faceoff, or some other time that you can use to line up with the video from Flo.

Questions? Just comment below. These steps sound complicated…but it’s much easier than it looks.

Go Beavers!
