Beavers back in action at Gillett Wellness Center to take on Minnesota Crookston
BSU Women’s Tennis returns to NSIC play with lone home match
The Bemidji State University Women’s Tennis is back in action tomorrow afternoon and returns home for its lone home match of the season hosting University of Minnesota Crookston at 4 p.m., from Gillett Wellness Center.
The Beavers will honor their two seniors Sophie Groen and Isabela Nelson prior to the match for Senior Day.
Bemidji State looks to keep its winning ways intact after defeating University of Wisconsin-River Falls 9-0 in its last action back on March 2.
The Beavers (1-5, 0-4 NSIC) are led by Ana Lucia Ibanez who is 3-3 this season including 2-3 at No. 4 singles. Kate Taylor is 1-5 at No. 1 singles while Valesca Rodriguez (1-5) follows at No. 2, Emilia Sand (1-4) at No. 3, Laura Burger (0-5) at No. 5 and Isabela Nelson (0-4) at No. 6.
The doubles team of Sophie Groen and Nelson are 2-1 while Rodriguez and Taylor are 1-5 and Ibanez and SSand are 1-3.
Minnesota Crookston is 7-2 this season and 2-2 in conference play.
