BSU Football will open the 2024 season Thursday at Chet Anderson Stadium, hosting the Michigan Tech Huskies at 6 p.m.
MTU holds the advantage in the all-time series, 21-10, which ran Nov. 4, 1955 through Sep. 25, 1993. In the last meeting, the Huskies defeated the Beavers 52-23 in Bemidji. The last time BSU earned a win was at home on Oct. 7, 1989, 26-14.

* The Beavers ranked 25th in the American Football Coaches Association Preseason Poll and 20th in the D2Football.com poll.
* The Beavers were picked fifth in the NSIC’s Preseason Coaches’ Poll.
