Randklev garners CCHA Forward of the Week

Carter Randklev named CCHA Forward of the Week after three-point weekend

Bemidji State University Men’s Hockey forward Carter Randklev secured his first Central Collegiate Hockey Association accolade Monday afternoon after he was named the CCHA Forward of the Week for October 11-12.

Randklev paced all CCHA forwards in goals (2) and points (3) last week, posting a +2 rating in a pair of games against nationally ranked St. Cloud State University. He tallied twice on four shots in a 4-3 loss in St. Cloud on Friday, before setting up the Beavers’ second tally in a 3-2 defeat on Saturday. The Moorhead, Minn., native has at least one point in every game for Bemidji State.

He was joined by University of St. Thomas’ Mason Pool (Defenseman) and Michigan Tech’s Max Vayrynen (Goaltender) and Elias Jansson (Rookie) as weekly award winners.
