The Bemidji State men’s hockey team scored two first period goals, but then gave up four straight to the UMass Minutemen, losing 4-3 in the opening game of the 2012 Ledyard National Bank Holiday Classic at Dartmouth College.
Bemidji State got two assists from Brance Orban. UMass got three assists from Branden Gracel.
BSU will play the loser of the late game tonight (either Dartmouth or New Hampshire) on Monday. Dartmouth will play the late game of the day. If New Hampshire wins, BSU would play at 6pm (CT). If New Hampshire losses, BSU would play at 3pm (CT).
