Despite playing well all weekend, the University of Omaha Mavericks knocked off the Bemidji State 2-1 at the Sanford Center taking four points in the process. Aaron McLeod scored the games first goal, after a long video review of the play, to put the Beavers ahead early. UNO would answer though in less than three minutes.
Both teams went scoreless on the power play for the second straight night.
Mathieu Dugas stopped 24 shots in the loss.
