Liudmila Belyakova scored 3:39 into overtime to break a 4-4 tie and defeat the Bemidji State University women’s hockey team, 5-4, in exhibition play Wednesday at Sanford Center.

Tess Dusik (Sr., F, Oak Bluff, Manitoba), Allie Duellman (Sr., D, Maplewood, Minn.) and Kristine Grenier (Jr., F, St. Leon, Manitoba) each posted two points in the loss, while senior goaltender Jessica Havel (Grand Rapids, Minn.) stopped 29 shots.

The Bemidji State University women’s hockey team (7-7-2 overall, 4-5-1 WCHA) resumes regular season play Dec. 6 and Dec. 8 when it travels to Madison, Wis. to battle University of Wisconsin.
