Bemidji State (2-1; 0-1 NSIC) returns to action Feb. 8 when it travels to Sartell, Minn. for a pair of NSIC match ups. The Beavers will face Southwest Minnesota State University in a neutral-site match at 1 p.m. before going head-to-head with St. Cloud State University at 4:30 p.m.

Newcomer Shaylin Prout (So. Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada) posted a 6-4, 7-6 win over WSU’s Hannah Potter. Prout posted her third No. 1 singles victory of the weekend (6-1, 6-3) and Hatch won at No. 2 (6-0, 6-0) before St. Mary’s went on a singles run winning the No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 matches to finish the meet 5-4.
