Kaneeshia Johnson (So., Rosemount, Minn.) was the team’s top competitor in the field events at the BSU Twilight Thursday night, collecting a pair of second place finishes. She recorded a distance of 16-feet, five inches in the long jump to gain runner-up accolades, while netting a mark of 33-10.25 in the triple jump to finish second.

The Beavers also gained a second place finish in the pole vault. Austin Eng (So., Braham, Minn.) cleared 10-00.00.

The Bemidji State track and field team returns to action Feb. 28-March 1 when it hosts the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Indoor Championships at the Gillett Recreation/Fitness Center. The event will begin at 10 a.m. Friday and will wrap up Saturday with events resuming at 9 a.m.
