The Bemidji State men’s hockey team lost to the Bowling Green Falcons 5-3 on Friday night, in the first game of the season-ending series in Ohio. Bemidji State scored the games first goal, but trailed 2-1 after the first period.
The Falcons would scored three more times in the second.
BSU was 0-3 on the power play, Bowling Green was 1-2 on the man advantage.
Game two of the series, and the final game of the regular season is Saturday night in Ohio. The Benusa pregame show starts at 5:30pm on the Beaver Radio Network. With Lake Superior State’s loss at Ferris State, a BSU win will get them into the playoffs which start next week.
