The Bemidji State University softball Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference opener, originally scheduled for Tuesday against University of Minnesota Crookston, has been rescheduled for 1 p.m. April 8 due to unplayable field conditions in Bemidji, Minn.
Bemidji State assembled an 11-5 record through the nonconference season, including a 7-3 spring break trip to South Carolina.
With 11 wins in its first 16 games, BSU has already accounted for more wins than any season since 2006 (17).
Bemidji State will look to play its first home games of the season April 2 as it is scheduled to take on Minot State University at the BSU Softball Field.
