The Bemidji State University volleyball team split its final two matches of the Keweenaw Classic Saturday in Houghton, Mich. BSU fell to University of Wisconsin-Parkside, 3-2 before defeating (RV) Northern Michigan University, 3-1. The Beavers’ record moves to 2-2 this season.

Bemidji State University volleyball player Jessica Yost (OH, So., Bemidji, Minn.) was named to the Keweenaw Classic All-Tournament team Monday. The tournament’s eight head coaches voted on the all-tournament team. The four teams with winning records had two selections each while the other four teams had one.

BSU returns to action Sept. 12-13 when it competes in the NSIC Challenge hosted by Augustana College and University of Sioux Falls. The Beavers will open the two-day event with matches versus Missouri Western State University and Northwest Missouri State University Friday.
