The Bemidji State Men’s Hockey team lost at Minnesota State on Friday night 6-3, despite leading 3-2 heading to the third period. BSU got down early 2-0, but scored late in the first on a goal by Matt Prapevessis. Then, BSU scored early in the second to tie the game at two. BSU’s Cory Ward scored with five minutes left in the second to give the Beavers the lead.
MSU Mankato would score four goals in the third, the last short handed, to win game one of the WCHA series.
