The Bemidji State University women’s ice hockey team, now 5-4-1 overall and 1-4-1 in WCHA play, returns home to face University of North Dakota (4-5-1, 1-4-1 WCHA) Nov. 14-15. The puck will drop at 2:07 p.m. each day from Sanford Center.
About the Beavers
Juniors Ivana Bilic and Kaitlyn Tougas have led BSU’s offense so far this season with six points each (1g, 5a). Fellow juniors Megan Lushanko and Kristin Huber have also provided some offensive production with five points (2g, 3a).
BSU has split its goaltending duties this season between Brittni Mowat and Erin Deters. Mowat, who was the WCHA Defensive Player of the Week Nov. 4, is 3-2-1 with an 1.81 goals against average (GAA) and .943 save percentage, while Deters is 2-2-0 with an 1.51 GAA and .948 save percentage.
