The Bemidji State University women’s basketball team opened Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) action against University of Minnesota Crookston Saturday at BSU Gymnasium. The Beavers fell by a final score of 66-53.
BSU shot 32.8 percent from the field while Minnesota Crookston went 35.5 percent from the floor. Bemidji State dished out 10 assists and pulled down 40 rebounds.
Bemidji State, now 2-3, 0-1 NSIC will be back in action Dec. 5-6 as it welcomes St. Cloud State University and University of Minnesota Duluth to BSU Gymnasium. Game times are set for 6 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively. The Golden Eagles improve to 2-3, 1-0 NSIC with the win.
