The Bemidji State University women’s hockey team will host Pursuit of Excellence Academy in an exhibition contest Wednesday at 7 p.m. The exhibition tilt is the only exhibition the Beavers will play this season.

Bemidji State (8-5-1, 4-5-1 WCHA) comes into the week having won four of its last five games. With its 8-5-1 start, the Beavers are currently ranked No. 9 in this week’s USCHO.com Poll.

The Pursuit of Excellence Academy is currently in its sixth season of competition. POE has produced over 15 national team members on four different countries. It has also produced over 40 NCAA Division I, Division III or CIS hockey players. This season POE has seven Division I hockey commitments
