About the Beavers
Bemidji State will look to snap a three-game losing skid this weekend as it dropped its final three games before the holiday break. Despite the trio of losses, the Beavers have already matched their win total from a season ago (11) and narrowly missed tying a program record for most wins before semester break (12).
BSU’s offense has been led this season by juniors Kaitlyn Tougas (6g, 9a) and Ivana Bilic (4g, 10a). In addition, Stephanie Anderson (5g, 5a), Hanna Moher (4g, 6a), Alexis Joyce (3g, 7a) and Kristine Grenier (2g, 8a) have also reached double-digit point totals.
Brittni Mowat has been a staple for Bemidji State in between the pipes this season as she has started 16 of the 20 games. Mowat has a record of 9-5-1 with a 1.56 goals against average and .946 save percentage.
