The 7-10-3 BSU men’s hockey team puts its seven-game unbeaten streak on the line this weekend as it hits the road for a WCHA series at Lake Superior State University. The two-game set will get underway from Taffy Abel Arena in Sault Sainte Marie, Mich. Friday at 6:37 p.m. with a 6:07 opening face-off set for Saturday.

The Beavers trail the Lakers 24-21-2 in a series that got its start in 1966, with an even 11-11-1 mark in games played on LSSU’s home ice. Last season BSU swept the Lakes in Sault Sainte Marie, earning 5-2 and 3-1 victories Jan. 10-11.
