The Bemidji State University tennis team is set for their first pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matches of the season this weekend. The Beavers will face Winona State University Saturday, Feb. 14 and then take on Upper Iowa University Sunday, Feb. 15 at Winona Tennis Center. The matches are set for 4 p.m. and 9 a.m., respectively.

In their opening weekend of the 2015 season, the Beavers fell just short of the win. In a non-conference match against Concordia College Feb. 1, at Courts Plus in Fargo, N.D., BSU lost 5-4. Bemidji State was leading 2-1 after the doubles matches, but lost their lead during singles play.

The Beavers next action will be Feb. 20-21 in Virginia, Minn. when they face University of Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State University.
