The Bemidji State University track and field team concluded its indoor season at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference 2015 Indoor Track and Field Championships Friday. Junior Nicole Crummy set a career-best in the 800-meter run to lead the way for the Beavers.
Crummy finished in seventh place 800-meter run with a time of two-minutes, 20.60-seconds, trimming more than two seconds from the fastest time of her career (2:22.76).
Crummy also participated on BSU’s distance medley relay (13:26.30) and 4×400-meter relay teams, which each recorded their best times of the season. The team of Crummy Morgan Beattie, Sara Melom and Emily Turner crossed the line in 13:26.30 in the distance medley relay, while Crummy teamed up with Nikki Anderson, Melom and Beattie for a 2015-best 4:15.63 in the 4×400.
Crummy, and the Beavers, will open the outdoor season next weekend.
