The Bemidji State outdoor track and field season gets underway April 11 and 12 when it travels to St. Joseph, Minn. to compete in the SJU-CSB Outdoor Invitational and Bismarck, N.D. for the Marauder Open the following day.

Hegg capped her junior outdoor track and field season owning the Beavers’ top hammer throw mark, while competing in the discus and javelin events. She stretched the tape 138-feet, eight-inches to record a personal-best in the hammer throw and rank 30th in the NSIC. Hegg was consistently the Beavers’ top weight throw participant during the 2014-15 indoor season, posting a season-best toss of 45-11.25 to open the season.
