The Beaver Radio Network’s Kelly Schultz visited with Bemidji State women’s hockey red-shirt junior forward Stephanie Anderson after she returned from the 2015 Women’s World Championships in Malmo, Sweden.
Anderson became the first BSU women’s hockey player to play with Team USA and the first to win a gold medal. She played in four of the five tournament games.
USA went 5 & 0 in the tournament and defeated Canada 7-5 in the championship game. Anderson had an assist on the Gold Medal game’s first goal.
Anderson will be entering her senior season with the Beavers in 2015-16.
