The Bemidji State University cross country team will travel to Moorhead, Minn. Sept. 11 to compete in the Randy Smith Invitational to begin the season. The 4,000-meter race will begin at 8:15 p.m.
Bemidji State is lead by Head Coach Kevin Kean as he begins his first year at BSU. The Beavers return six runners and three incoming freshmen headlined by NSIC Athlete to Watch Nicole Crummy.

In addition, Crummy’s 2014 highlights included posting a 18th place finish in the Mike Thorson Invite and clocked 20:09 to place 29th at last year’s Randy Smith Invitational.
Four of BSU’s returners finished in the top 65 in last year’s Randy Smith Invite. In addition to Crummy, Jolynne Denman placed 30th with a time of 20:12 followed by Jane Austin (21:31) and Amanda Anderson (23:00).
