Twenty-one seconds and Bemidji State University football would have its 14th consecutive win over Southwest Minnesota State University. The streak was to be broken Saturday night, though, as the Beavers allowed a last-minute touchdown to give the Mustangs a 34-30 win on Mattke Field at Schwan Regional Event Center in Marshall, Minn.

The loss by Bemidji State (0-2 overall) ended a streak of 13 consecutive wins against Southwest Minnesota State (2-0 overall), that dated back to 1997.

Bemidji State will return to Chet Anderson Stadium next week as Winona State University enters for another NSIC interleague game.
