Winona State University blocked a 38-yard field goal attempt by Isaac Aanerud in the final moments of regulation to steal a 20-17 victory over Bemidji State University Saturday at Chet Anderson Stadium.
Down 13-10 in the fourth quarter, Jordan Hein connected with senior wide receiver Jordan Noskowiak on a 29-yard pass to take the lead, 17-10, but after an eight-play, 75-yard scoring drive by the Warriors, the Beavers needed the last-minute field goal to extend the game.
BSU returns to action Sept. 26 when it travels to St. Paul, Minn. to battle Concordia University-St. Paul at SeaFoam Stadium. Opening Kickoff is set for noon. Listen right here on The Beaver Radio Network!
