The Bemidji State University women’s ice hockey team earned its highest ranking in a national poll since 2011-12 after the Beavers were ranked ninth in the Preseason USCHO.com Division I poll Monday. BSU earned the ranking after finishing 10th in the 2014-15 season’s final USCHO.com poll.

The Beavers finished last season with a program-record 21 wins, and look to build upon that season after retaining the services of 21 student-athletes for the 2015-16 season, including senior captain Hanna Moher.
