The Bemidji State University soccer team outplayed Concordia University-St. Paul Sunday at Chet Anderson Stadium, but the Golden Bears got the only goal of the match and stole a 1-0 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference victory.
The loss stretches the Beavers losing skid to three matches as BSU falls to 5-3-0 on the season and 2-3-0 in league play.
Bemidji State finished the match with a 14-11 edge in shots, out shooting CSP 12-4 in the second half, registering a 7-5 advantage on shots on goal.
Fobbe made for saves on five shots face, while her counterpart, Emma Gatner stopped all seven of BSU’s shots on goal to post a shutout.
BSU now hits the road for its first NSIC road trip of the season. BSU will travel to Sioux Falls, S.D. to face Augustana University at 11 a.m. Saturday before a trip to Wayne, Neb. for a 1 p.m. match up with Wayne State College Sunday.
