Bemidji State will return to action Oct. 9 when it travels to Sauk Rapids, Minn. for the Bob Waxlax Invitational. The starting gun is set for 5 p.m.
Bemidji State University senior Nicole Crummy clocked a time of 24:46.3 Saturday to lead the Beavers to 27th place at the Roy Griak Invitational.
Crummy, who crossed the finish line in 46th place in the field of nearly 400 runners, completed the 6,000-meter race 2:18.1 off the pace set by University of Mary’s Alexis Zeis, who posted a 22:13.6 to claim top honors.
As a team, Bemidji State had seven runners compete with its top five accumulating 768, to finish 685 points behind the team champion, University of Minnesota Duluth (83).
