The Bemidji State University Department of Athletics has announced a buy one, get one ticket deal for Saturday’s Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference North Division showdown versus University of Minnesota Duluth with deer hunters in mind.

We encourage all those attending this weekend’s game to wear camouflage or blaze orange. Those who are wearing hunting gear and purchase a ticket at the gate will receive a ticket of equal or lesser value for free.

Hunting and the outdoors are woven into the fabric of our culture. We understand that. We also know that the Beavers have won a program-record six consecutive games and face Minnesota Duluth this weekend. A win over the Bulldogs would put the Beavers in position for the North Division title and enhance a chance at the postseason.

The game is set for a 1 p.m. kickoff at Chet Anderson Stadium, but pregame activities will begin in Diamond Point Park at 11:30 a.m.

Adult general admission tickets begin at $12 while senior citizen and student tickets are just $5.
