The Bemidji State University women’s hockey team remained ranked sixth in the latest USCHO.com national poll Monday. The Beavers (8-2-2, 5-2-1 WCHA) hold the ranking after sweeping St. Cloud State University last weekend.

The University of Wisconsin jumped to No. 1 after earning its seventh and eighth-straight shutouts of the season. Boston College moved to No. 2 and University of Minnesota fell to No. 3 after splitting its series with University of North Dakota.

Clarkson University remained at No. 4, and North Dakota jumped from No. 7 to No. 5 to round out the top five.

The ranking marks the ninth-straight week the Beavers have made the poll, and the Western Collegiate Hockey Association is represented by, an NCAA leading, four teams in the poll.

Bemidji State will be back on the road next weekend by travelling to Ohio State University for a WCHA match-up.
