Bemidji State women’s hockey senior defender Ivana Bilic was named to Team Canada’s 2016 Nations Cup roster Wednesday. A native of Coquitlam, British Columbia, Bilic is one of seven defensemen on the 22 player roster. The 2016 Nations Cup will feature national teams from Canada, Finland, Germany, Russia, Sweden and Switzerland. The teams will compete in Fussen, Germany on January 4-7, 2016.

Bilic has notched 2 goals and 9 assists for the 6th ranked Beavers this season. She led the nation in blocked shots during the 2014-15 campaign and already has blocked 49 shots in 18 games played this year.
