Video – Beaver Fever Friday – TJ Roo – Mens Hockey

On the heels of its first series sweep of the 2015-16 seaosn, the Bemidji State University men’s hockey team looks to continue its run this weekend as it travels to Big Rapids, Mich., for a Western Collegiate Hockey Association match up with Ferris State University.

The two-game league series will get underway at 6:07 p.m. (CST) Friday with a 6:07 p.m. opening face off also set for Saturday’s series finale.

The Beavers, which are 6-12-1 versus the Bulldogs all time, seek revenge after being swept out of the WCHA Playoffs by FSU last spring. The Bulldogs took the first game of the best-of-three series, 4-1, but needed 46:40 of overtime to advance to St. Paul, Minn. and the Final Five, 3-2.

Despite the Beavers lack of recent success versus the Bulldogs, they are unbeaten in their last two meetings at Ewigleben Ice Arena, posting a 2-1 victory and 1-1 tie Feb. 27-28 of last season.
