The Bemidji State University track and field team plans to travel this weekend to compete in the Yellowjacket Open and the NSIC Multi Championships Saturday and Sunday.
The Yellowjacket Open is an all-day event on Saturday held in Superior, Wis. at the Lydia S. Thering Fieldhouse on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Events are set to begin at 11:30 a.m.
Sunday, the Beavers will head to Mankato, Minn. to participate in the NSIC Multi Championships on the campus of Minnesota State, Mankato at the Myers Fieldhouse. The women’s pentathlon is set to begin at 2 p.m.
Last weekend at the Lake Superior Challenge, Bemidji State’s Nicole Crummy, Madison Kealy, and Sara Melom all had second place finishes to lead the Beavers on the campus of the College of St. Scholastica.
