The Bemidji State University track & field team will begin its outdoor season this weekend as they travel to Collegeville, Minn. to compete in the Saint John’s University/College of Saint Benedict Invitational April 9-10.

Events are set to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Clemens Stadium. The events will continue on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.

The Beavers’ original season opener was delayed last weekend due to cold weather conditions in St. Paul, Minn. BSU distance runner Jayne Austin talks about the delay.

The Beavers will travel to the Holst Invite next weekend in the Twin Cities.
