The Bemidji State University softball team earned a sweep of Minot State University Wednesday to extend its winning streak to eight games. The Beavers (29-16, 12-9 NSIC) defeated the Beavers of Minot State (15-28, 4-21 NSIC) 4-2 in game one and rallied back with three runs including a walk-off two RBI double by senior Lyndsey Peterson to take game two, 5-4.
Jess Yost earned the win in the circle, her 16th this season, and allowed three earned runs, six hits and struck out six.
Bemidji State closes out the regular season on the road when they travel to Northern State University and Minnesota State University, Moorhead Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
