The Bemidji State University football team rushed for a school record 480 yards and totaled over 650 team yards en route to a 52-3 win over University of Mary. With the win, the Beavers (4-1) begin Northern Sun Intercollegiate North Division play 1-0 while the Marauders fall to 0-4 (0-1 NSIC North).

The Beavers (4-1, 1-0 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference North) set a program record with 480 rushing yards in a 52-3 win at University of Mary (0-5, 0-1 NSIC North).

No. 25 Bemidji State returns home following two weeks on the road to host Northern State University at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8. The Beavers and Wolves meet for the 40th time in the series, which is currently tied, 19-19-1. BSU won the most recent matchup, 41-24, to clinch a share of the 2015 NSIC North Division title.
