The Bemidji State women’s hockey team earned their first spot in the USCHO.com national poll of the season this week after being ranked eighth. The Beavers (3-1-0, 1-1-0 WCHA) earn the ranking after splitting its series with then No. 2 University of Minnesota.
Five teams from the Western Collegiate Hockey Association earned spots in the poll while No. 1 University of Wisconsin retained its number one ranking for the third straight week.
The USCHO.com Poll is compiled weekly and consists of 15 voters, including coaches and women’s hockey writers from across the country. USCHO.com provides in-depth coverage of college hockey.
