The Bemidji State University women’s hockey team skated to a 3-3 tie with No. 5 Ohio State University Friday night and defeated the Buckeyes in the shootout to earn two points in the WCHA standings. Senior goaltender Erin Deters made 40 saves and stopped all six shootout attempts by OSU, while freshman Lydia Passolt scored the lone goal for the 1-0 shootout win. Bemidji State had all three of its goals scored by different skaters. Freshman defender Mak Langei was the lone skater to record multiple points in the game by tallying two assists.
