Bemidji State University senior forward Abby Halluska scored the game-winning goal with 1:33 left to play to secure the Beavers’ seventh consecutive victory, setting a new program record at Bemidji State. The Beavers (10-8-1, 6-6-0 WCHA) earned a 2-1 victory over Union College (2-13-3, 2-4-1 ECAC) breaking the program’s old win streak record of six set back in the 2017-18 season.
Five Beavers recorded a point in the game including junior Paige Beebe and Halluska who netted BSU’s goals while Mak Langei, Tina Kampa and Jacqueline Kaasa each recorded assists.
Redshirt junior Lauren Bench earned her sixth consecutive victory in net after stopping 21-of-22 shots by the Dutchwomen and improves her season record to 8-6-0, one win shy of tying a single-season wins mark.
