The Bemidji State University men’s hockey team will play the MSU-Mankato Mavericks this afternoon in teh third place game of the Mariucci Classic in Minneapolis. BSU lost Saturday night 5-2 to the host Gophers, with Minnesota scoring two empty net goals late. The Beavers haven't played at the Mariucci Cup since 2010, when they beat Ferris State and Union to win the tournament. TOday's game will not count in the WCHA standings.
