Bilden leads Beavers to sixth-place finish at Tracy Lane Memorial
Freshman Trista Bilden cards 178 to pace Beavers at home tournament
Bemidji State University Women’s Golf freshman Trista Bilden carded 178 (88-90) as the Beavers finished sxith at the 2024 Tracy Lane Memorial Golf Tournament held at the Bemidji Town and Country Club Monday-Tuesday.
The Beavers finished with a team score of 722 (352-370) while University of Mary took home the team title with a score of 673 (333-340).
Bilden tied for 21st as an individual while sophomore Elli Anderson (88-92=180) followed and placed 26th. Sophomore Haylee Kammann was close behind placing 27th with a 181 (88-93) while freshman Sarah Sroga was just two strokes behind and finished 29th (88-95=183).
Senior Savannah Byfuglien made a seven-stroke improvement on day two and finished with a 195 (101-94) while freshman Lauren Kammann (95-101=196), junior Isabella Depew (106-98=204), freshman Bailey Tilley (102-102=204) and sophomore Nakomis Mitchell (103-108=211) round out the Beavers’ scores.
Bemidji State returns to action next week and travels to Hudson, Wis., to compete in the Maverick/Golden Bear Fall Brawl at the Troy Burne Golf Course, Sept. 16-17.
