Beavers return home briefly to face Golden Eagles Friday; Travel to MSU Moorhead Sunday
BSU Women’s Soccer looks to build upon successful upon four-match point streak
Fresh off a four-point weekend at St. Cloud State University and then No. 2 Minnesota State University, Mankato, the Bemidji State University Women’s Soccer team hopes to keep its four-match point streak alive against University of Minnesota, Crookston and Minnesota State University, Moorhead this weekend.
The Beavers 6-2-3 (4-1-3 NSIC) begin the weekend Friday, Oct. 17 by hosting the Golden Eagles (1-8-2, 0-7-1 NSIC) at 6 p.m. Bemidji State then hits the road and travels to Moorhead, Minn., to face the Dragons (3-7-1, 2-6-0 NSIC) Sunday at 1 p.m.
Each match will be streamed online at the NSICNetwork.com while Friday’s match can also be heard on the radio at FM 94.3 courtesy of the Beaver Radio Network.
Bemidji State enters the weekend fifth in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference standings with 15 league points and looking to extend its four-match point streak. The Beavers have earned at least one point in seven-of-eight conference matches this season with their only league loss on the road at Wayne State College.
Bemidji State is led by senior Katrina Barthelt who is second in the NSIC with seven goals this season and third with 17 points.
