The Bemidji State University Women’s Soccer team makes its second road trip of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference season this weekend and puts its four-match unbeaten and shutout streak to the test against Minot State University and University of Mary, Friday-Sunday.

The Beavers begin the weekend’s action by traveling to Minot, N.D., to face the Beavers (2-5-0, 1-3-0 NSIC) Friday, September 25 at 5:30 p.m. Bemidji State then travels to Bismarck, N.D., to face the Marauders (3-2-2, 2-1-1 NSIC) Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

The Beavers enter the weekend tied for the NSIC lead with 10 conference points and have won their last three matches and are unbeaten in their last four. Bemidji State has not allowed a goal since Sept. 4 and has gone 365:21 of match time without allowing a goal. BSU is coming off two victories over Wayne State College and Augustana University this past weekend at Chet Anderson Stadium.

Bemidji State has relied on a balanced attack through the opening seven matches of the season. The Beavers have scored nine goals while allowing just three, ranking among the conference leaders defensively with a 0.43 goals against average and a .914 save percentage, ranking second in the conference in both statistical categories. Those marks rank in the top-20 in NCAA Division II with the Beavers ranking 15th in goals against average and 13th in save percentage.

The Beavers have utilized three different goalkeepers to stymie their opponents this season with Rozlyn Buettner, Payton Kropp and Emma Marzean. Buettner paces the group with three starts and leads the team with 20 saves while Kropp and Marzean have each made two starts and both have posted shutouts in each of their starts.

11 different Beavers have recorded at least one point this season, while nine players have found the back of the net. Senior Ella Wade leads the offensive effort with a goal and three assists for a team-high five points. Senior Megan Ko follows with four points with a goal and two assists while is third with a goal and an assist.

The Beavers open the weekend against Minot State, which enters Friday’s match with a 2-5-0 overall record and a 1-3-0 conference mark. The Beavers of Minot State are coming off a split last weekend, defeating Winona State University 2-0 before falling 2-0 to Concordia University-St. Paul. Minot State has scored three goals through seven matches while allowing 10 goals.

Bemidji State holds a 13-6-2 advantage in the all-time series against Minot State and is 3-1-1 over the last five matches between the two programs. The Beavers played to a 1-1 tie at Chet Anderson Stadium in their last meeting on Oct. 5, 2025.

Sunday’s match pits Bemidji State against a UMary squad that enters the weekend 3-2-2 overall and 2-1-1 in conference play. UMary has won its last two matches and ranks among the NSIC’s most active offensive teams, averaging 16.6 shots per match while scoring 10 goals through seven contests. The Marauders offense is led primarily by Dina Polanca who is tied for the conference lead in goals with seven and leads the NSIC in points (15).

Bemidji State is 15-13-3 all-time against UMary and is 3-1-1 against the Marauders in their last five meetings. Bemidji State earned a 1-0 victory against the Marauders at Chet Anderson Stadium in their last meeting on Oct. 3, 2025.
